Though the volume of deals fell in Southeast Asia, Greater China and India, there were silver linings. In terms of deal value, the activity was flat in October for SE Asia, but Greater China ($5.1 billion) and India ($1.37 billion) showed better performances than in September. Singapore was the key attraction for investors in Southeast Asia, whereas the green economy was the highlight of Greater China. After a quiet September, India saw four megadeals.

The deal value improved 37% over the previous month to $1.37 billion thanks to 4 megadeals.

The green economy powered 63% of the $5.1 billion worth of deals in October.

Singapore cornered 64% of the $1.3 billion worth of deals for the region in October.
