Bengaluru-based Ema, an enterprise platform for agentic AI Employees, has raised $77 million in its Series B funding round led by Creaegis.
The funding also saw participation from Accel, S32 and Prosus, the company said in a statement.
Ema will use the funding to scale its go-to-market operations, with several senior leaders already hired, and continue investing in its platform, said the statement.
“Enterprises do not need more software. They need work to get done,” said Surojit Chatterjee, CEO and co-founder of Ema. “Our customers are not running experiments; they are running their HR, IT and Finance operations on AI Employees at a scale of millions of interactions a year. This round lets us bring that to many more enterprises still stuck in the pilot stage.”
Ema’s product-led model enables enterprises to deploy and scale its AI Employees without relying on services-heavy implementations. Customers can initially deploy the technology in one function and expand it across areas such as HR, IT and finance through a single platform. The AI Employees can plan and execute tasks across an enterprise’s existing applications, verify their work, route approvals where required and complete processes end to end, with human oversight for critical decisions.
The company claims to have grown its revenue 50-fold over the past 24 months. It counts global enterprises and industry players such as Wipro, Hitachi, ADP and PwC among its customers.
