Alibaba said to be doubling down on Southeast Asia amid tech correction

Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba wants to take advantage of softer Southeast Asian tech valuations by doubling down on its investments in the region, sources aware of the matter told DealStreetAsia.

Several industry sources said Alibaba’s investment team has been on a “Southeast Asia tour” in the last 2-4 weeks, zipping across Indonesia, Vietnam and Singapore to engage directly with startup founders.
