Green SM launches fully electric taxi service in India
Vietnam’s first all-electric mobility service, Green SM, has launched its Green SM Limo service in New Delhi, marking its entry into India and expanding its footprint to five markets, including Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
The launch underscores Green SM’s push to promote sustainable urban mobility in one of the world’s largest transportation markets. In the initial phase, the company will operate in key areas of the Delhi National Capital Region, with plans for a phased expansion.
Green SM Limo operates the VinFast Limo Green, a seven- seater fully electric SUV.
To support its India expansion, Green SM also onboarded five local partners into its Green Alliance Frontier initiative, a platform aimed at connecting businesses focused on sustainability and accelerating green transformation across markets.
“India is one of the most important mobility markets in the world. Its scale, rapid growth, and strong spirit of innovation are opening up many opportunities for the future of green transportation,” said Nguyen Van Thanh, GSM Global CEO.
Singapore’s Hello Ello launches service in Malaysia
Singapore-based AI caregiving technology startup Hello Ello has launched Vision One, an AI-enabled care camera, in Singapore and Malaysia as it targets the region’s growing elderly care market.
The product combines a 3K WiFi camera with the company’s mobile application to monitor elderly family members living at home. The system can detect potential emergencies and send alerts to caregivers through the app.
Founded by Ivan Mun, Hello Ello develops AI-powered tools focused on eldercare and remote caregiving.
Hello Ello is targeting adult children seeking to monitor ageing parents remotely while balancing work and family responsibilities.
The company’s launch taps into a growing eldercare market in Singapore, where family members remain the primary caregivers for older adults amid a broader policy push to support ageing in place.
