Bank of America has hired Srijith Nair from Goldman Sachs to lead its financial institutions group (FIG) coverage in Asia excluding China and Japan, two sources with knowledge of the move said.
Nair will also head coverage of insurance clients across the Asia Pacific region and will be based in Singapore.
He is expected to start at the end of September and will report to Michael Evans, who runs FIG in Asia Pacific.
Bank of America did not immediately respond to a request seeking comment. Goldman Sachs declined to comment.
Nair has two decades of investment banking experience across Citi, Barclays and Goldman Sachs, according to his LinkedIn profile. He joined Goldman in 2021 from Barclays, where he worked after an earlier role at Citi.
