Japanese auto parts maker Denso Corp said on Monday that it has not gained chipmaker Rohm’s agreement for its acquisition proposal and is considering withdrawing the offer.

Last month Denso, a major Toyota Motor supplier, made the bid in a move that would have expanded its control over power-management chips used in electric vehicles and data centres.
