In separate funding updates from India, L Catterton has made a strategic investment in Glance, while live social entertainment platform Eloelo is in talks to raise capital.

L Catterton invests in Glance

L Catterton, a consumer-focused investment firm, has made a strategic investment in Glance, an artificial intelligence-powered shopping platform backed by technology firm InMobi.

The funding comes as companies look to use AI to help consumers discover products and make purchases.

L Catterton will support Glance’s expansion, particularly in the US, drawing on its experience in the consumer sector, operational expertise and global network.

Glance uses generative AI to help people discover and shop for products across mobile phones, TVs and apps. Glance is also backed by Google, Jio Platforms and Mithril Capital.

Eloelo in talks to raise funding

Eloelo, a live social entertainment platform, is close to raising $50-60 million (about Rs 480-580 crore) in funding, led by Hornbill Capital, according to a report by The Economic Times.

The round is also likely to see participation from its existing investors.

The investment could peg the valuation of the company at around $400 million, the report added.

Established in 2020, Eloelo started as a live-streaming and social gaming platform where creators interact with their audiences. It has since expanded into short-form dramas through Story TV and Elo TV, micro-learning through Master, and AI-powered services, including video production through Dolphin AI.

The company last raised $13.5 million in April 2025 in a round led by Play Ventures. It also counts Kalaari Capital, WaterBridge Ventures and Lumikai among its backers.
