Metasports Interactive, a mobile sports gaming company, has raised $20 million in user acquisition funding from London‑based growth financier Metica.
The capital will be used to grow its popular multiplayer cricket game, Hitwicket, by boosting marketing and attracting more players worldwide. Alongside the funding, Metica will also provide its technology to help improve Hitwicket’s in‑game revenue and overall business performance.
Founded by Kashyap Reddy and Keerti Singh in 2020, Metasports Interactive has established a strong global footprint, reaching over 18 million users across 109 countries.
With the new funding, the company aims to achieve 8x growth over the next 18 months, supported by expanded marketing in key international markets, AI-driven user acquisition and targeting, and sustained investment in product innovation.
