Global investment manager Neuberger has announced the appointment of Bertrand Ng as Alternative Product Specialist, APAC, according to a press release.
Based in Singapore, Bertrand joins the client coverage team and reports to Jose Cosio, Head of Intermediary, EMEA, LatAm and APAC.
Bertrand brings extensive experience across private markets, alternative investments and wealth management. He most recently served as CEO of iCapital SG Pte. Ltd., leading the firm’s Singapore operations and driving the expansion of its private markets platform across Asia.
Before joining the firm, he spent over a decade at JPMorgan Private Bank in Singapore and Hong Kong, serving in several senior roles, including private equity, venture capital, private credit, and real estate for private wealth clients.
“Bertrand’s deep understanding of private markets, combined with his experience working across wealth management and alternative investment platforms in Asia, will be a significant asset as we continue to expand our private markets capabilities and support clients’ growing demand for private market solutions across the region,” Cosio said in the statement.
In his role, Bertrand will work closely with clients and distribution partners across Asia, helping to articulate Neuberger’s private markets capabilities and investment solutions while supporting the firm’s continued growth in the region.
Bertrand’s appointment underscores Neuberger’s ongoing commitment to investing in its private markets platform and strengthening its presence across Asia to meet the evolving needs of investors.
Neuberger, which manages approximately $613 billion in assets, focuses on mid-cap and lower mid-cap buyouts. These assets generally offer broader exit optionalities, which translate into a more favourable liquidity profile over time.
