So/Facet, a premium lab-grown diamond jewellery brand, has raised nearly $1.05 million (Rs 10 crore) in a seed funding round led by Sauce, marking its first institutional funding round.
The round also saw participation from Mokobara co-founders Sangeet Agrawal and Navin Parwal; the Chona family office, behind HOCCO Ice Creams; Kedar Lele, President, Haleon South Asia; and Devaiah Bopanna, Co-founder, Moonshot.
The capital proceeds will support brand building, design, technology, hiring and an omnichannel rollout, the company said in a press release.
So/Facet is set to launch online in November 2026 and aims to open over 30 premium stores in three years.
Fractal appoints Shilpa Kedia as CFO
Fractal Analytics Ltd, an enterprise AI company that builds its own AI models, platforms and products, on Monday announced it has appointed Shilpa Kedia as chief financial officer (CFO), effective immediately.
Kedia will lead Fractal’s global finance organisation, supporting profitable growth and disciplined capital allocation. Her priorities will include directing capital toward Fractal’s research, platforms and products, building a commercial model that prices for the value Fractal’s AI creates, and helping investors understand how the company’s financial strategy supports earnings growth, the company said in a statement.
Kedia joins Fractal from Johnson & Johnson (J&J), where she served as CFO for its India Medical Devices & Technology (MedTech) business. Prior to this, she spent four years at Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), holding leadership positions including Head of Investor Relations, Group Finance Controller, and Head of M&A, Treasury & Insurance.
