Standard Chartered has partnered with BlackRock Inc. to launch an Asia Pacific multi-asset fund designed for investors seeking broad exposure in the region, the bank said on Monday.
Signature Select APAC Allocation Plus fund will provide exposure across equities, fixed income and liquid alternatives.
It aims to deliver long-term capital appreciation alongside income generation, Standard Chartered said.
The fund will be made available to accredited and professional investors across the bank’s priority, priority private and private banking segments.
It will initially be offered in Hong Kong, Singapore, UAE, Jersey, Malaysia, Kenya and Nigeria, with other markets to follow.
BlackRock will act as the sub-manager for the fund which has been launched under Standard Chartered’s Variable Capital Company platform.
