UOB Private Bank, the wealth management arm of Singapore-based United Overseas Bank, said on Monday it had appointed Dominique Boer as managing director and regional market head for ASEAN, effective September 17.
Boer will be based in Singapore and report to Chew Mun Yew, head of UOB Private Bank, the statement said.
She will lead the growth and strategic development of the bank’s ASEAN franchise, focusing on client relationships across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.
Boer has 35 years of experience in the financial services sector spanning private banking, retail banking, small and medium enterprise, and corporate banking.
Over the past two decades, Boer has held private-banking leadership roles across Asia Pacific, including at UBS Bank and Credit Suisse, according to her LinkedIn profile.
