V-Key, a Singaporean digital identity and mobile application security provider, has made a strategic investment in Singapore-based CloudsineAI, according to an announcement.
CloudsineAI provides AI cybersecurity and web integrity protection, while V-Key, a portfolio company of Tower Capital Asia, specialises in digital identity, authentication and mobile application security. Financial details of the investment were not disclosed.
The companies said the investment will combine their technologies to address security risks involving AI agents and other non-human actors that can access systems and initiate transactions.
“This strategic investment reflects our conviction that identity will become the control layer for the AI economy,” said Joseph Gan, co-founder and CEO of V-Key.
Gan said trusted identity, controlled access, secure digital interactions and verifiable accountability would be important as organisations deploy AI-powered services.
The companies plan to combine V-Key’s identity management and application security capabilities with CloudsineAI’s agentic cybersecurity technology.
CloudsineAI founder and CEO Matthias Chin said digital and AI transformation increasingly depends on trust among people, organisations, applications and AI agents.
The companies said their integrated services will target regulated industries including financial services, government, healthcare, and critical infrastructure.
The offering is intended to help organisations verify digital identities, protect interactions involving AI systems and strengthen governance and regulatory compliance.
Seth Lim, senior vice president at Tower Capital Asia, said the investment extended the firm’s view that identity and digital trust would be foundational to the next phase of the digital economy.
“We see significant opportunities for innovation and expansion across Asia-Pacific and beyond,” Lim said.
The deal comes eight months after Tower Capital Asia made an undisclosed strategic majority investment V-Key, which was founded in 2011.
V-Key’s technology secures over 300 applications for customers in 15 countries, including some of the largest financial institutions in Asia-Pacific.
Its software-based architecture enables efficient deployment and scalability, supporting institutions as they expand digital services across the region and internationally.
