Deepshikha has over 14 years of experience in media and communication. She started her career as a business journalist with Business Standard and The Economic Times where she reported on information technology, retail and consumer goods. She also did a stint with content solutions firm Alphabet Consulting, developing marketing communication content for global telecom and financial services companies. Prior to joining DEALSTREETASIA, she was a digital marketer at Honeywell, a Fortune 100 technology firm.
Ka Kay has been a writer with DealStreetAsia since May 2018. She covers the private markets, with a major focus on private equity and venture capital across Southeast Asia and adjoining regions. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Ka Kay observes how private capital is shaking up the region and helping businesses grow.
Ipsita is in charge of brand management and digital marketing at DealStreetAsia. With a background in social sciences, she plans and executes content for higher visibility, awareness, purpose and engagement. She also oversees all digital and web development efforts at DealStreetAsia.
She has previously been associated with the Bangalore-based public policy think tank The Takshashila Institution, news portals – IBNLive (India), The Huffington Post (US), and Centre for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS). She is currently based out of and shuttles between Chennai and Kolkata, India. In her spare time, Ipsita travels, reads and enjoys photography.
Eugene is in charge of subscriptions push and business development at DEALSTREETASIA. He has prior experience of handling high volume subscription sales for MNCs in the technology sector. Having worked with Fortune 500 clients, he is also exposed to growth strategies to penetrate new markets, capture mature share and accelerate top and bottom-line revenue growth through his years of B2B sales experiences.
Eugene holds a double degree in Law and International Business (Hons) from the University of Sydney. In his spare time, Eugene likes to travel, and has been to destinations such as India, Fiji, Bhutan and Nepal. He is open to new experiences and loves to meet people from all walks of life.
