4baseCare, a precision oncology company building population-relevant clinico-genomic intelligence, has raised nearly $13.4 million in a funding round. In another development, lifestyle and gifting startup Uni Seoul has secured $3.7 million in its Series A funding round.
4baseCare raises $13.4m led by growX, Infosys
4baseCare, a precision oncology company building population-relevant clinico-genomic intelligence, has raised nearly $13.4 million (Rs 128 crore) in a funding round led by growX Ventures and Infosys, with participation from existing investors.
The latest infusion comes nearly five months after the company raised Rs 90 crore, co-led by renowned investors Ashish Kacholia and Lashit Sanghvi, with participation from existing investor Yali Capital in January this year.
The company had earlier raised Rs 50 crore in Series A funding led by Yali Capital and participated by Infosys.
The latest funding proceeds will be used for global expansion and scaling 4baseCare’s AI-powered precision oncology platform, OncoTwin. The company also plans to expand its hospital-linked genomics lab network across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Central Asia to improve access to advanced cancer diagnostics.
Uni Seoul raises $3.7m funding
D2C Korean-inspired lifestyle and gifting startup Uni Seoul has raised nearly $3.7 million (Rs 35 crore) in its Series A funding round co-led by Riverwalk and Sauce.vc, per media reports.
The funding also saw participation from Panthera Peak Ventures and a group of existing angel investors.
According to a report in INC42, the startup plans to use the fresh capital to expand its offline footprint across premium malls and high streets in Tier I cities, launch on quick commerce platforms, and strengthen supply chain and private label offerings.
