Standard Chartered has made a strategic investment in Chinese blockchain-enabled supply chain financing platform Linklogis, per a company statement. Financial terms of the Series C+ round of financing remain undisclosed.
The investment comes after both the companies announced the completion of their first supply chain financing transaction in August 2019.
Prior to the latest investment, Linklogis secured $220 million in its Series C round funding led by Singapore’s GIC while other investors include Tencent, China Merchants Venture, Bertelsmann Asia Investments, among others.
Linklogis leverages innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data and blockchain in its supply chain financing platform.
