Facial recognition technology provider Universal Ubiquitous Technology (UUT) has secured approximately 100 million yuan ($14 million) in a Series B1 round from Weed Ventures, a Beijing-based venture capital firm focused on industrial internet, smart manufacturing and new consumption sectors, according to a company statement.
