Dutch development bank FMO has proposed to invest $25 million in Delhi-based micro-finance company SATYA MicroCapital Limited. Of the proposed investment in SATYA, while $20 million will be used for growth of the loan book towards female and young entrepreneurs and women-owned microenterprises, the remainder $5 million will be earmarked for Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) or other green qualifying products, FMO said in a disclosure.
