Indonesia‘s stock exchange has set a target to increase its market capitalisation to 30,000 trillion rupiah ($1.68 trillion) by 2030, exchange chief Jeffrey Hendrik said on Tuesday.
The 2030‘s market cap target is 87.5% higher than last year’s figure of around 16,000 trillion rupiah.
Aside from boosting the market cap by 2030, the stock exchange also wants to increase the daily equity market transaction value to 31 trillion rupiah, with a total of 1,100 listed companies and 35 million investors.
In 2025, average daily transactions in Jakarta’s stock market reached a value of 18.06 trillion rupiah with 956 publicly listed companies, according to the exchange‘s website.
