India Digest: Navikenz, CraftifAI, Beep raise funding

Navikenz, an enterprise AI and data transformation company, has raised $7.5 million in a seed funding round led by Sekar PRC (former CEO, Hexaware), and others. In separate developments, CraftifAI has raised $3 million in a seed funding round led by Ankur Capital, while edtech startup Beep has raised $850,000 in a pre- Series A funding round.

Navikenz secures $7.5m funding

Navikenz, an enterprise AI and data transformation company, has raised $7.5 million in a seed funding round led by Sekar PRC (former CEO, Hexaware), Sudip Nandy (former CEO, Aricent), along with Anjan Lahiri and Samit Deb, per an announcement.

The funding also saw participation from existing and new high-net-worth investors, bringing the company’s total funding to $11.6 million.

“This funding helps us serve our customers better and allows us to continue investing in our people, deepen investments in AI frameworks and accelerators, scale business outreach, and hire talent across key markets, especially in the US, UK, Europe and India, as we build the next phase of Navikenz. Our focus is on reimagining core business workflows, bringing transformative productivity improvements to enterprises through AI,” said Anjan Lahiri, Founder & CEO, Naviken.

Founded by Lahiri and Samit Deb, Navikenz currently works closely with life sciences and pharmaceutical companies and is selectively expanding into additional industries. The company aims to continue profitable growth with a goal to double revenues every 12-18 months over the next few years.

Ankur Capital leads funding in CraftifAI

CraftifAI, a software startup building AI tools for embedded engineers, has raised $3 million in a seed funding round led by Ankur Capital, with participation from IvyCap Ventures, Capital-A, Antler and others.

The fresh capital will be used to scale CraftifAI’s engineering and go-to-market teams as the company expands its footprint across global embedded, edge, and IoT markets, it said in a statement.

CraftifAI is building CraftifAI Orbit, an Agentic AI platform designed to automate embedded software development for Edge, IoT, and AI-powered devices. Orbit simplifies how engineers build intelligent systems—spanning automated, hardware-optimised code generation and AI/ML deployment—reducing development time and cost.

Beep secures $850k funding

Pune-based edtech startup Beep has raised $850,000 in a pre- Series A funding round, it announced on Tuesday (Feb. 17).

The round saw participation from Knowhere Ventures LLC, Pacific Global Solutions Limited and LeadAngels FLV, along with individual investors Vipul Prakash, Founder of wowJobs, and Sandeep Johri, CEO of Checkmarx.

With this round, the company’s total funding since inception stands at $1.5 million.

The company plans to utilise the capital to scale its platform to 5 million users and onboard 150 additional colleges over the next nine months. Beep will also invest in building more industry-relevant programmes that equip students with practical, job-ready skills aligned with real hiring needs, it said in a statement.

Currently, the platform runs more than 28 live programmes across design, work-ready certification and experiential internship tracks. Beep claimed that since inception, it has enabled more than 30,000 young talents and early professionals to secure placements, internships and gig work opportunities through its platform.
