Malaysia-based automotive after-sales platform ServAuto has secured a new round of funding led by Vynn Capital, according to an announcement on Tuesday.

Vynn Capital is supported by Malaysia’s National Fund-of-Funds, Jelawang Capital. The round in ServAuto also saw participation from Openspace Capital, SWC Global, Gobi Partners, and several strategic angel investors. No figures were disclosed for this round, but the company said it brought its total capital raised to nearly $6 million since inception.

“We saw the same opportunity in after-sales that we saw in the used-car market years ago: a massive industry suffering from a lack of trust and standardisation,” said Phoy Yong Hao, Co-Founder of ServAuto. “Automotive after-sales should be simple and reliable. With this funding, we can scale a consistent experience nationwide, backed by a tech-enabled supply chain that guarantees verified products.”

“We believe some of the most compelling opportunities in Malaysia and broader Southeast Asia sit at the intersection of mobility, operations, and real-world execution,” said Victor Chua, Founding & Managing Partner of Vynn Capital.

Founded in 2024 by former CARSOME executives, ServAuto targets long-standing inefficiencies in Malaysia’s automotive after-sales market, which remains highly fragmented and largely offline despite the country’s high vehicle ownership rates. Car owners often face inconsistent service quality, unclear pricing, and limited assurance around parts authenticity.

ServAuto operates a digital-first model that allows customers to purchase services and products online and book appointments through its platform, e-commerce channels, and integrations with partners such as CARSOME and Touch ’n Go.

Unlike marketplace or lead-generation models, the company controls service quality by sourcing parts directly from manufacturers and distributors and enforcing standard operating procedures across its branded and partner workshops.

Within its first year of operations, ServAuto said it has served more than 30,000 customers nationwide, focusing on high-frequency services such as oil changes and window tinting, alongside selected accessories.

The company plans to use the latest funding to expand service coverage and further scale its workshop footprint across Malaysia.
