China Evergrande currently holds 51.02% of the unit.

The investment may include IFC’s MCPP financing, with the rest from a parallel lender.

The transaction is HPS’s first private credit deal in Asia since being bought by BlackRock.
The JV will have over $1.5b of combined capital commitments from Realty Income and GIC.

The investment will be made in tranches and structured as a sustainability-linked bond.

BW will serve as the asset and development manager for the portfolio.
