Singapore unicorn Carousell slashes staff count by 10% as it braces for downturn

Singapore-based classifieds firm and unicorn Carousell is cutting 110 positions, or 10% of its total headcount, as it braces for a slowdown in 2023. The announcement was made by Carousell’s co-founder and chief executive officer Quek Siu Rui on Friday.
