12 Flags leads investment in Wippi

Wippi, a technology startup building conversational, screen-free products for young children, has raised $1.2 million in seed funding led by 12 Flags. The funding also saw participation from Warmup Ventures, Ventana Ventures and Ruvento Ventures, the startup said in a statement.

The funding will accelerate product innovation, strengthen Wippi’s proprietary voice AI capabilities, expand its engineering and AI teams, scale manufacturing in India and grow its direct-to-consumer business.

The company also plans to expand its portfolio of characters, languages and original content while reaching more than 15,000 families over the next twelve months.

Founded by Rishabh Singhi and Siddhartha Jain, Wippi reimagines storytelling as an immersive, two-way experience by combining proprietary voice AI, character cards, illustrated storybooks and Wippi Radio.

Lane raises funding led by Kae Capital

Lane, a tech-enabled driving education and mobility platform, has raised $890,985 (Rs 8.5 crore) in a round led by Kae Capital, per an announcement. The funding also saw participation from DeVC, Antler India, Panthera Peak as well as prominent angels, the startup said in a statement.

The funds will be deployed across three key priorities: expanding Lane’s instructor network across Bengaluru and other Tier 1 cities, accelerating the development of its proprietary driving behaviour sensor technology, and building downstream infrastructure to support customers through their first car purchase.

Founded by Samiksha Agarwal in 2025, Lane brings structured driving lessons, end-to-end RTO and licensing support, and a driver intelligence platform together into one ecosystem. The company claims to have delivered 30,000+ hours of instruction to more than 3,100 learners since inception.

Zeropearl VC, others invest in Vecton AI

Bengaluru-based Vecton AI, an AI transformation partner for financial institutions, has raised nearly $628,930 (Rs 6 crore), in a pre-seed funding round led by Zeropearl VC.

The round also saw participation from other investors, according to the company.

The funding proceeds will help accelerate the development of enterprise-grade AI products, enhance the FDE (Forward Deployed Engineer) approach used by the company, and expand into the banking, financial services and insurance market. The Vecton AI company will also use the funding to improve user experience and aid decision-making.
